Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Poster APP LLP, E-276, Phase 8A, Industrial Focal Point, Mohali, SAS Nagar, Punjab, India – 160055 (“Poster Maker”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They apply when you use the Poster Maker app inside ChatGPT and when you optionally use our website and web editor.
By using Poster Maker, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.
1. The service
Poster Maker lets you search poster and flyer designs and create personalised design previews. You describe what you want, and we search our template library, place the text and details you provide into a suitable design, and return a preview.
Poster Maker is available in two connected places:
- Inside ChatGPT. You ask ChatGPT for a poster or flyer and results are shown in your conversation. No Poster Maker account is required to view a result.
- On our website and web editor. Optional. Opened through a link returned by the app, for editing or saving a design.
We do not operate ChatGPT. ChatGPT is provided by OpenAI under its own terms. These Terms cover the Poster Maker service only.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Poster Maker, or 16 where local law sets a higher minimum age. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using Poster Maker you confirm you meet these requirements.
If you use Poster Maker for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Accounts and the web editor
You can use Poster Maker inside ChatGPT without an account. You must create an account and log in to edit or save a design in our web editor.
- Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at appledev650@posterapplab.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
- You may delete any individual saved draft, or delete your account, at any time. Deleting your account removes your saved drafts.
- Do not share, sell or transfer your account to anyone else.
4. Your content
“Your Content” means the text and details you choose to supply — a name, event name, date, offer, business details, location, phone number, email address or similar — for us to place into a design.
You confirm that:
- You have the right to use and supply Your Content.
- Your Content does not infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Your Content does not breach Section 7.
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, modify and render it strictly for the purpose of operating the service and producing the designs you request. This licence ends when you delete the relevant design or your account, except for copies we must retain by law or that remain in routine backups for a limited period.
Please supply only information you are comfortable printing on a design. Do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, financial account details or health information.
5. Templates, designs and ownership
- Our templates. The template library, layouts, artwork, fonts, software and branding are owned by Poster APP LLP or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them through the service.
- Your finished designs. Subject to these Terms and to any third-party asset licences, you may use the designs you create for personal or commercial purposes, including printing and sharing them.
- Stock and generated imagery. Some designs include photography from third-party providers or images produced by an AI image service. Those assets remain subject to their providers’ own licence terms, which may restrict certain uses such as resale of the image on its own.
- What you may not do. You may not redistribute, resell or sublicense our templates as templates, stock assets or design files, or use them to build a competing template library or service.
- We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.
Templates are shared across users. A design you create is not exclusive to you, and the same template may be used by others.
6. AI-generated content
Poster Maker uses automated and AI-assisted systems to interpret your request, adapt template text and, where a design needs it, select or generate imagery. Because of this:
- Output may contain errors, awkward wording, or text and imagery that does not match your intent.
- Review every design before you publish, print or distribute it. You are responsible for the final content, including the accuracy of dates, prices, offers and contact details.
- Similar requests may produce similar results for different users. We do not guarantee that a design or any generated image is unique.
- Automated output is not professional advice of any kind.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Poster Maker to create, request or distribute content that:
- is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
- infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights, including using a brand, logo or name you do not have permission to use;
- impersonates a person or organisation, or misrepresents an affiliation;
- is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or targets a person or group on the basis of a protected characteristic;
- is sexually explicit, or exploits or endangers minors;
- promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal weapons or drugs;
- is fraudulent or deceptive, including fake offers, fake credentials, fake events or misleading medical or financial claims;
- contains another person’s private information without their consent.
You also agree not to:
- scrape, bulk-download or systematically extract our templates, assets or data;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our source code, other than where the law permits it;
- interfere with, overload or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
- bypass rate limits, access controls or security measures;
- use the service to build or train a competing product or model.
8. Third-party services
Poster Maker relies on third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, stock photography, AI processing and image generation. Those providers are listed in our Privacy Policy.
When you use Poster Maker inside ChatGPT, your use of ChatGPT is governed by OpenAI’s terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Poster Maker available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, including templates, features or the template library, at any time. Where a change is material and we can reasonably do so, we will give notice.
We may set reasonable limits on usage — such as the number of requests, designs or saved drafts — to keep the service reliable for everyone.
Please keep your own copy of any design that matters to you. We are not a backup service and do not guarantee that a design will remain available indefinitely.
10. Fees
Where Poster Maker is offered free of charge, we may change that at any time on reasonable notice. If we introduce paid features, plans or credits, the applicable price, billing period and refund terms will be presented to you before you are charged, and additional purchase terms may apply. Charges made by third parties — for example your ChatGPT subscription or your app-store provider — are governed by their own terms and are not collected by us through this app.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Poster Maker at any time, and you may delete your drafts or your account as described in Section 3.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if your use poses a risk to the service or to other users. Where the breach is minor and can be fixed, we will try to contact you first.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Section 5, Section 12, Section 13, Section 14 and Section 15 — continue to apply after your access ends.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poster Maker is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy or availability.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that results will be accurate or suitable for your purpose, or that defects will be corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Poster APP LLP and its partners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of Poster Maker — even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Poster APP LLP and its partners, employees and suppliers from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs and reasonable legal fees arising from Your Content, your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party’s rights.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts at Mohali (SAS Nagar), Punjab, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at appledev650@posterapplab.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of Poster Maker after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
17. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
