Poster Maker (“Poster Maker”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a design service operated by Poster APP LLP, E-276, Phase 8A, Industrial Focal Point, Mohali, SAS Nagar, Punjab, India – 160055. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Poster Maker app inside ChatGPT and when you optionally open our website and web editor through the app.
Poster Maker for ChatGPT lets you search poster and flyer templates and create personalised design previews. When you choose to continue to our website or web editor, the website allows you to edit or save the design. The website is an optional part of the same Poster Maker experience and is accessed through links provided by the ChatGPT app.
1. Who this policy covers
- People who use the Poster Maker app inside ChatGPT.
- People who optionally open the Poster Maker website or web editor from a link provided by the ChatGPT app.
We do not operate ChatGPT. Your ChatGPT account, conversations and information held by OpenAI are governed by OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. Poster Maker receives only the information that is sent to our service when the Poster Maker app is used.
2. How the ChatGPT app works
- You ask ChatGPT to find or create a poster or flyer.
- ChatGPT sends the information needed for your request to Poster Maker.
- Our backend processes the request, searches relevant templates, personalises the design and prepares a preview.
- Where required for the requested design, we may use disclosed third-party services for text processing, image search, image generation, hosting or delivery.
- The resulting design or preview is returned to ChatGPT for display in your conversation.
- If you choose to edit the design, you may open the Poster Maker website or web editor through the link provided by the app.
Using the website is optional. You can view the generated result in ChatGPT without creating a Poster Maker account. If you choose to open the web editor, additional information needed for editing or saving a design may be collected as described below.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information sent through ChatGPT
When you use Poster Maker in ChatGPT, we may receive information such as:

Please only provide information you are comfortable using in your design. Do not submit passwords, government identification numbers, financial account information, health information or other sensitive information unless it is genuinely necessary for your requested design.
3.2 Information generated or stored by our service
- Personalised designs and previews. We may store the design information and rendered preview needed to return your result and, where applicable, reopen it in the web editor.
- Design and template information. We may store selected templates, design settings and requested edits so the requested design can be processed.
- Temporary technical data. Temporary files or response data may be created while processing and delivering your request.
- Server logs. Our systems may record technical information such as IP address, timestamp, request path, user agent and error information for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting and reliability.
3.3 Information we do not collect through the ChatGPT app
- We do not receive your ChatGPT account password or OpenAI account credentials.
- We do not read your entire ChatGPT conversation. We receive only the information sent to our service for the Poster Maker request.
- We do not access your device camera, microphone, contacts or location through the ChatGPT app.
- We do not collect payment card details through the ChatGPT app.
- We do not accept image or file uploads through the ChatGPT app. Designs are built from our own templates and from stock or generated imagery; any images in a design come from the providers listed in Section 5.
- We do not set cookies and do not use analytics, advertising or device-fingerprinting tools in the ChatGPT app. The card grid uses only your browser’s temporary session storage to stay rendered while the conversation is open; it is cleared when the session ends.
3.4 If you choose to use our website or web editor
The Poster Maker website and web editor are our own services, outside ChatGPT and outside OpenAI. Opening them is optional. If you do not want to edit your design, you never have to leave the app and nothing further is collected — you can view your generated result in ChatGPT on its own.
You must create an account and log in to edit or save a design in the web editor. If you do, we collect the information needed to provide those features, such as your name, email address, account credentials and saved designs. Passwords are stored in protected form. Information you provide through the website is handled by Poster APP LLP, and you can delete your account or any individual saved draft at any time (see Section 9).
4. How we use your information
We use information received through Poster Maker to:
- Understand and process your poster or flyer request.
- Search and rank templates relevant to your request.
- Personalise template text and design fields using the information you choose to provide.
- Select or generate suitable visual assets where required for the requested design.
- Render and return the requested design or preview to ChatGPT.
- Allow you to optionally log in to our web editor to open, edit or save the design, and to manage or delete the drafts saved to your account.
- Understand what kinds of designs people ask for, so we can add templates and improve our search and matching quality.
- Maintain, secure and troubleshoot the service and prevent abuse.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We process information only for the purposes described in this policy and to provide the Poster Maker functionality you request.
5. Service providers and third parties
We may use third-party service providers to operate Poster Maker and provide requested functionality. We share only the information reasonably needed for the relevant service.

We do not provide your ChatGPT account credentials to these providers. Where a provider is used only for image search, we aim to send a short descriptive search term rather than personal details that are not required for the search.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the service or users, to enforce our terms, or as part of a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, subject to applicable law.
6. International transfers
Poster APP LLP and some of our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we use appropriate contractual or other legally recognised safeguards.
7. How long we keep information

We may retain information for longer where required by law, needed to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the security of our service. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained for longer.
8. Security
We protect information with measures including HTTPS/TLS in transit, authenticated server-to-server calls between the app and our backend, access controls on our infrastructure, and automatic expiry of cached files. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the app.
9. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account. You can delete your Poster Maker account at any time. We remove the account and the personal information held against it, including your saved drafts, subject to legal exceptions.
- Delete a draft. You can delete any individual saved draft or design without deleting your account — the design and its rendered previews are removed.
- Delete other personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions.
- Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
- Request portability of information you provided, where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Complain to a relevant data protection authority.
How to exercise your rights: email appledev650@posterapplab.com. If you used Poster Maker through ChatGPT without an account, include the approximate date and time of your request and, where available, the design or editor link so we can identify the relevant information. If you have a Poster Maker account, you may also use the available account or design deletion options in the web editor.
We will respond to valid privacy requests within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your request before completing it.
10. Children’s privacy
Poster Maker is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact appledev650@posterapplab.com and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
